Default Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations

Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations

Quote:
Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor's identity, campaign officials confirmed.

Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides acknowledged. Instead, the campaign is scrutinizing its books for improper donations after the money has been deposited. (ed.: mmm-hmm. yeah right)

The problem with such cards, campaign finance lawyers said, is that they make it impossible to tell whether foreign nationals, donors who have exceeded the limits, government contractors or others who are barred from giving to a federal campaign are making contributions.

Our Presidency is being bought. The question is, by whom?

Or it could just be that the use of prepaid debit cards has risen dramatically since the last election. Four years ago, most people have never heard of them, but now they are everywhere.

But of course, you'll see it as a vast liberal conspiracy, and claim all the money is from big oil and terrorists.

Radical muslim terrorists in the mountainous passes between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

I know that's it. It all makes sense.

Seriously, today's blunderbuss fire of Barack-O-Crap is just over the top.

Hey, don't blame me for all the skeletons in Obama's closet. It's not my fault that Obama is a smorgasbord of badness. All I did was post a link to a WaPo story.

Ah shit, silly me, I forgot: we're not allowed to question The Great One, or expect answers.

Remember the whole "hypocrisy" "irony" definition debate in the other thread you were involved in?

Lets do a little experiment... Examine THIS statement....

ok.. now, research all of your previous posts regarding ANYTHING remotely negative or revealing of McCains hypocritical claims. See anything "ironic"?

Uh.... no actually. I've addressed nearly every post about McCain, and if you were here a while ago, you would have seen my angry objections to McCain's acceptance of the Bush/Paulson wall street bailout. I've admitted to McCain's flaws, which is something most of the hard-core Obama zealots here will never do. Hell, they'll never even talk about these issues without sarcasm and personal attacks (there are a handful of exceptions - Parabellum and Mr. Whippy come to mind, but they aren't hardcore zealots).

Truth is, I am not and never have been thrilled with McCain. I'm simply making the case that he is a far, far better and much less damaging Presidential prospect than Obama.

We know about McCain's negatives. The media harps on them 24X7. Obama, not so much. He just gets blowjobs from the media.

How about almost everything that Obama has been accused of is tenuous at best? Ayers? Wright? so what. he has some people on his friends list that arent model citizens. That doesnt make Obama unqualified... Should we judge you by your friends?
Khalidi? his connection with khalidi is less than McCains.
What else?
Not wearing a lapel pin? BFD? God forbid that the man is OBVIOUSLY a commie because he didnt wear a piece of plastic and metal.
I havent really heard much of substance this whole election cycle being thrown at Obama. Besides, McCain screwed himself when he allowed the "Muslim", "Not a citizen" crap to come from his campaign.. He started a campaign strategy of slander, flat out lies, and fear mongering, and it is backfiring on him.

What is the relevance? Shit man, we know the guy's name and the amounts of the donations. Not the same thing as Obama's s anonymous, untraceable donations that are the subject of this thread.

Nice irrelevant hijack attempt though.

Uh, did you read the article? They actually cannot find the guy. Nor, can he be traced.

To answer your question of who is buying the presidency? In John McCain's case, China.
