Don't forget: The politicians who never fought, but order our soldiers to torture people who have never been proved to have been bad guys.

I got one: The willingness to elect decent, smart people to high office.
Nudge, nudge, wink, wink...

In what way? Care to elaborate?
So do you disagree that we caused the deaths of over a million in Vietnam fighting the Soviets?
Do you disagree that we've killed hundreds of thousands in Iraq fighting the dictator we once supported?
Do you disagree that the US once supported the mujahadeen (including Bin Ladin) and the Taliban when they were fighting the soviets?
Do you disagree that our only involvement in the middle east is for control of and/or access to oil?
The truth is that we don't give a fuck about democracy or human rights when it comes to our desire for oil, and we'll trample over anyone who gets in our way. We'll make deals with brutal dictators, we turn a blind eye to the oppression of the people living under those dictators and when they no longer serve our needs, at best we drop them like hot potatoes, and at worst, we ravage their country with bombs and war removing the dictator we once supported only to install a new one.
Get real dude. You can "Wow" all you want and continue to live in your little dream world. We're no better than the terrorists.

Yes, it has many, but unfortunately, they're betrayed by an incompetent leadership (on both sides of the isle) and an ignorant public who's more concerned with catching the next episode of "Faimly Guy" than learning just what their government is doing.
And here again we see the problem - you won't argue my points, you turn it around to suggest I hate my country. Classic deflection - love it or leave it.

And would have been over fairly quickly if we had support from the liberal throat cutters, so if you want to point fingers, blame the incompitant jack asses that would not let our troops advance and other bullshit.

I dono do you agree that people get married and down the road find out there spouse has changed and became a bitch/asshole?
However its kind of irrelevent since the people who supported Saddam and the taliban are no longer in office.

See above I can add to it but at this time its not necissary.

Humans typically are self serving, so no surprise there, do we care about democracy? I dono, democratic countries seem to be more stable even though they have a tendency to elect the same type of assholes but somehow it keeps them in check.
But let me ask you this, what army would be more kind and compassionate invading your nieghborhood a western army or an eastern army?

I must say that I don't dispute or disagree with any of this.
We financed BOTH SIDES of the Iran-Iraq conflict in the early 80s for profit...if that isn't blood money, I don't know what is.

Let us never forget: We dropped not one, but TWO NUCLEAR WEAPONS on Cilvilian targets in WW2.
Civilian targets.
Nuclear weapons.
There is NOTHING that justifies that action.
NOTHING.

There sure as shit was. Invading the Japanese mainland would have cost tens, if not hundreds of thousands of American lives. We needed to get them to quit, but because of the Emperor's place as infalible God, and the general Japanese view that death was preferable over surrender, it wasn't going to happen unless we could show them that we were not only willing, but capable of wiping out their entire civilization.
Nuking their asses was entirely appropriate.
