Palin and rape
How odd...although Alaska "leads the nation in reported forcible rape" (ABC News), the reason Palin is giving for firing the Public Safety Commissioner in the Troopergate scandal was because she did NOT want him to make a trip to Washington, D.C. to seek "to seek federal funds for an aggressive anti-sexual-violence program" to help combat Alaska's horrible rape crime problem.
It would seem to me that any governor with any empathy for the victims of rape, whatsoever, would be bending over backwards to find and promote anything possible, program/policy-wise, to bring such a horrible problem under control--especially a woman. But no--Palin instead branded the *Public Safety Commissioner's* efforts to battle out-of-control rape, within the state she purports to govern, as ---"insubordination".
Sarah Palin is now the PRO RAPE candidate in my eyes! What a twisted piece-of-work she must be.
BTW, ABC news also has a copy of the *approved* travel voucher that McCain's lying friend-of-rapers Palin said never existed. Now the story is that her chief of staff (who signed the voucher) didn't know it was for getting anti-rape program funding--so any other reason (like the pork barrel bridges-to-nowhere she enthusiastically supported when running for governor) was ok--but fighting rape in the state with the highest rate of rape--was not.
I'm trying to think of a more --illuminating-- way to cast Palin as a self-serving heartless pro-raper bitch--- but i simply cannot...

I'm just curious, why don't people that go on motorcycle forums and only post political stuff just go to political forums?

Either trolling or because it's a duplicate account because the individual doesn't want to let their feelings be known.
If the latter, the mods should check it out as a dupe ID violation...

Not having anything to add to the OP's post you ask why we don't go to a Politics forum in a Politics forum?

Politics & Religion Well Since every damn forum has one. Might as well leave it out there. This place is loosely moderated and should not be entered if you're weak of heart.

So you don't think it's odd that someone ONLY does political posts on a motorcycle forum?
I dunno, but if it smells like a troll...

I'm equally as curious why you'd care? After all, isn't it really none of your concern? Just sayin...

Oh, so that was directed at me. I'm flattered to elicit such a question about why I come here, it shows you care.
I have been on this board since 2004 although to the new user it might appear that I only post here in P&R that has been only since recently. I don't generally discuss motorcycles here because I spend more time at my clubs site DucsUnlimited for motorcycle info. For racing info I go to the WERA boards. This is the best place to discuss all types of racing. Who better to discuss racing than with real racers? I come here mostly to post in P&R because I find the discussion here between other motorcyclist talking politics more interesting than anything else here on the board to me. I do lurk in General from time to time, but I found out years ago that the constant squid posting began to wear on me.
I usually put on about 6000 miles per season so the idea of me being an internet warrior can be squashed.
So the answer you were looking for regarding why it seems that I only post here is that in all things I seek to find out how other riders think about certain subjects, even politics.
So in a weird, roundabout way blurr, I come here for you.
