I am not willing to underestimate the stupidity of the American people. Democrats have a history of tanking in August and never coming back. I was under the impression that we all had the right to vote for anyone we want. I'm going out on a limb here, but maybe the fact that you think that blacks should have something "said" for voting their choice has more to do with an assumption of racist than whether you vote for McCain.

Personally, the thought you are racist for voting for McCain never entered my mind. Based on your posting pattern other equally flattering descriptions come to mind though.

your not getting the point of my original "racist" comment. about them not seeing the hypocrisies. it's okay for them to be, just don't call them on it. it's okay to have an all black country club, but the minute the white man denies the black man entry into his country club there's a lawsuit. it's okay to vote for a black man cause he's black, but it's not okay to vote for the white man running against the black man, cause the black man is black. and you CANNOT deny that there is an unequal standard in this argument.

it's like affirmative action. you have two people jocking for a position at their job. The majority of the employees are white, with a few minorities mixed in. Now let's say the black guy has a two year degree and four years time in grade. The white guy has a four year degree and has been there for 10 years. Now. the right thing to do is to select the best candidate for the position, the one with the better education and the most experience. This USED to be the exception. When affirmative action WAS in play, the minority got the job because there were't as many minorities in that position. Unfortunately affirmative action has ended, but the practice is still in play.

same thing is happening here. we have an under qualified black man (technically not even 100% black) who is running for president, who hasn't even received the democratic nomination. Hell hilary hasn't even been in office as long as obama and already she's more qualified. and i'm not even a democrat. at least she takes the time to vote on the bills passed in front of her. Instead of voting present cause he can't be bothered to show up for work and research the topic at hand.
