Smile This is me.

Smith and Trash have inspired me.

So many times in the politics forum it seems to be that we have forgotten what brings us all together. We see each others as adversaries rather than motorcyclist. So many threads will almost instantly devolve into a loud, raucous, argument with out any thing being learned other than this person is a left-leaning socialist weenie and that person is a right-wing fascist asshole.

So to continue what Smith and Trash unknowingly started I would like to re-introduce myself as a motorcyclist that just happens to be a left-leaning socialist weenie. Hopefully others will follow suit and then we can continue the debates. At least when the arguments and ensuing insults resume we will be able to put a face to the left-leaning socialist weenie and right-wing fascist asshole.

I will start, this is me and my beloved ZX-7R.

..and the workhorse 748 trackster.

Let's see who you are.

My ugly mug (before I gave up on keeping any hair at all), and a shot from a trackday on my own beloved Kwak...

Ok, I'll play along.

This was taken in Vegas. We left San Fran that morning. Nearly got blown off the road getting into Vegas. So I just had to have a cocktail.

The ugly mug dealing with too much light

The uglier bike and spectacularly ugly leathers- note the custom tank creases

The not so ugly bike being abused

I'll play.

This past Sunday while doing semi-major (and so far unsuccessful) surgery on the Goose.

Garage night.

Indulging in my other big passion at the late, great Crocodile Cafe here in Seattle.

Well, here I am doing the three things I love doing best: fishing, eating, and riding my bike.

That's my daughter Colleen and I in Venice, last fall.

Here I am on the McKenzie River.

And entering South Dakota from Nebraska on a trip to the Black Hills from Oregon.

And, yes, slightly out of focus is the normal state of being for SlowGoose...

If we can get everyone to participate, this could be a rare (or maybe first?) P&R sticky.

All right, I'll play too. I don't have any not on the bike on this computer though. I'll see if I can find one and post it up.
