Hopefully that photo came from an article saying McCain is considering Lieberman as a running mate.

Then Obama can go back to the midwest and pound sand... bags.

How so? Is Leiberman that big of a hero to the Righties that they'll come out in droves to vote for McCain?

Well, in a somewhat liberal state (CT) he got a lot of libs to vote for him.

If a little less than half the voters are GOP and he gets even 30% of the Left, the team wins.

But I think I would have heard about this so it must not be happening.

Rumors I'm still seeing are Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

And it seems Richardson might well be Obama's pick.

All the libs I know hate Leiberman right now. I'm sure even in CT he would not sway the left to vote for McCain.

I would like to see Richardson as Obamas pick.

I can't help but think that Lieberman is a dead man walking. I can't see how he can be reelected in CT.

In fact, I think I read somewhere that he's not running in 2012. (Good. He can get a cushy job at AIPAC.)

Amazing how such a small insignificant country could hold us by the balls like that.
They have zero natural resources and aren't really that nice to us but yet when they say jump we ask how high.
Nuts hu?

You can hate away, but he won the election. Which is what this is about.

It would certainly be interesting to see a McCain/Leiberman ticket. They've both been trying to get into the White House before. I don't see it happening though.

The people I know who don't like Leiberman base it on his speaking and demeanor. Nothing to do with his politics. You just don't like him becuase he doesn't follow your agenda.

He's a moderate. And extremists don't care for moderates.

Nope. Another swing and a miss.

Try this: Democrats don't like him because he's for Bush's war. There is nothing about this misadventure he dislikes.

We lefties diss him because he's a shill for a foreign power at the end of the day.

Joe is a no-go. He's campaigning for McCain 24/6 and Connecticut is still going for Obama. He might help in Florida but everywhere else he's just another connection to Bush's policies.

Hutchinson would be a smart pick but I don't know if McCain could work with a woman. He's never had women in senior roles of his staff and he's got a reputation for being an incredible sexist pig when he's having a temper tantrum. (Like calling his wife the c-word...)

If not Hutchinson he should go young. Maybe Rob Portman, but there's the Bush connection again.
