"Wow Joe....this selling your slef to the dark side thing......you know didn't hurt so much....but it's ok because with your help as my VP we are going to win this....just like how you helped that nut bag Gore win the last election"
Amazing how such a small insignificant country could hold us by the balls like that.
They have zero natural resources and aren't really that nice to us but yet when they say jump we ask how high.
Nuts hu?

You can hate away, but he won the election. Which is what this is about.
It would certainly be interesting to see a McCain/Leiberman ticket. They've both been trying to get into the White House before. I don't see it happening though.
The people I know who don't like Leiberman base it on his speaking and demeanor. Nothing to do with his politics. You just don't like him becuase he doesn't follow your agenda.
He's a moderate. And extremists don't care for moderates.

Nope. Another swing and a miss.
Try this: Democrats don't like him because he's for Bush's war. There is nothing about this misadventure he dislikes.
We lefties diss him because he's a shill for a foreign power at the end of the day.
Well, in a somewhat liberal state (CT) he got a lot of libs to vote for him.
If a little less than half the voters are GOP and he gets even 30% of the Left, the team wins.
But I think I would have heard about this so it must not be happening.
Rumors I'm still seeing are Kay Bailey Hutchinson.
And it seems Richardson might well be Obama's pick.
Joe is a no-go. He's campaigning for McCain 24/6 and Connecticut is still going for Obama. He might help in Florida but everywhere else he's just another connection to Bush's policies.
Hutchinson would be a smart pick but I don't know if McCain could work with a woman. He's never had women in senior roles of his staff and he's got a reputation for being an incredible sexist pig when he's having a temper tantrum. (Like calling his wife the c-word...)
If not Hutchinson he should go young. Maybe Rob Portman, but there's the Bush connection again.
