Angry Well, we no longer have a female presidential candidate...

So let's compare cookie recipes.

White House recipe for success - Yahoo! News

Don't get me wrong - I am really pleased that Obama is the democratic candidate, and I vastly prefer him over Hillary, but this is just ridiculous.

Why? Just trading one socialist for the next.

With either you'll get higher taxes and farther away from the constitution.

That reminds me: I'm making oatmeal cookies today. The best recipe is the one on the Quaker Oats box. I'll be thinking of Cindy McCain as I go along. And laughing my ass off.

You must be very secure in your gender identity.

I think it is hilarious the candidates are coming up with all these "old family cookie recipes." The best cookie recipe is the one on the back of semi-sweet chocolate chip packages. Put a bit less sugar in the dough than it calls for and a bit more vanilla, and they are perfect. Anybody who doesn't think chocolate chip cookies are best is clearly a trr'ist and a pinko commie besides. So, to heck with these old family recipes. The one on the back good ol' all-American commercial packaging is the best, and if that isn't as American as you can get, I don't know what is.

Bunch 'o goons out there, I tell 'ya.

I not only bake, dude. I cook! And well, too. I've gotten more poonie with my salmon with balsamic vinegar glaze and saffroned rice by "hosting" dates at my place than you an imagine. Along with a decent chard, of course. Preferably Kendall-Jackson.

Comfortable? Shit, I'm in hog heaven, guy!

(Dang, I'm getting hungry, but I have to cool it since I'm in the middle of my physical and they want some blood this morning. So I'm fasting on coffee only till 11AM. Afterwards.....OATMEAL COOKIES! Yeah!)

What's the diff between a glaze and a demi-glaze?

Both are reductions. A glaze uses a bit of sugar (well, I do anyway) and is highly reduced. A Demi-glaze is a simple reduction, usually of juices from meat or fish.

Next question? What is this, a test?

Gimme an address. I'll send you some cookies.

No, I've asked waitrons the diff more than once, and none of them knew.

I also ask, once they've offered seven grain bread as an option, which seven grains they use...
