Religion Poll.....how important is it to you?
Whilst getting bashed on another thread it occurred to me that maybe a lot of people on here aren't that religious. So, I thought I'd make a poll.

You forgot the option "my religion doesn't have churches."
There are people in the world that are extremely religious yet not christian...

Typical myopia. Religion is only important to me when religious zealots try to legislate their beliefs on everyone else. Otherwise something other people engage in that I don't really get but accept.

Religion can be blamed for alot of the bad that's going on in the world right now.
Religion is also the reason my neighbors and pretty much the community I live in would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it.

I'm gonna have to go with his thoughts.
I think the whole thing is just one big cult. Being told that I'm not living my life properly because "God isn't in it" is a bunch of BS.

I'm a follower of Christ, not necessarily organized religion. I do go to church on my free will, but it wouldn't hinder my beliefs if I never went anymore.

If you are raised as a christian...do you really ever have a "free will". The christian free will is within the guidelines of a cult leader.

Of course you have free will. Being raised "Christian" doesn't have too much to do with it...
Have you ever not listened to something your parents told you?
You could sit in church all day and think that this is a load of B.S. and I can't wait to get out of conformation because I don't have to come back to this hell hole again...
There are plenty of people I know who did that. And thats their decision.
I was never forced to go to church or forced beliefs upon me, I went because I could... my ol' man thinks its B.S. and never came...
Free will? Everyone has free will. I have free will to do whatever I want right now... EVEN if I'm a Christian.
I think God looks at us like one of those books with the alternate endings. He has a path for your life. Its up to you if you choose page 23, 46, 64, or 91...
