Default Reverend Jeremiah Wright

I'm really trying to grasp what Rev. Wright is all about. Is he just a bad thorn on B. Obama's side or is he just simply attempting to draw attention to himself? His statements made public ally seem very divisive and damaging to the unity of man kind. He seems arrogant, audacious, contemptuous, and frankly he have nothing but damaging things to say.

He has the right to freedom of speech and we have right to rebuttal. He calls himself "Reverend" and I don't see how anyone with this distinction advocates hatred and distort terrible event such as 9/11. He shouldn't even be called a Reverend. I also feel his congregation to be just as accountable for allowing this type of advocacy to continue.

i tend to agree, although i would not accuse every person of his congregation to share his exact beleifs, i do beleive that they choose to listen to him and it at the very least says somthing about that persons character.

i think he enjoys the attention he is gettin. we are seeing alot of his videos that are recent, but i have not seen any that are older and that show that he has been saying this stuff all along. this leads me to beleive that he is continueing to say these comments just to keep the spotlight on him.

either way, i would prefer if he would just take a long walk in the woods

Check the P&R section.

I've got no problems with Rev. Jeremiah Wright

He's an attention-whore and the media is going along with it because they know it brings in higher ratings. I'm willing to bet that he's somehow profiting off of his appearances too.

Yes. Otherwise, he is irrelevant.
