Default The Apocalypse Is Upon Us

I've been wasting the remains of Sunday afternoon watching bad TV (had a gig last night so getting the grass cut today was productivity enough) and what do I see during the last commercial break for The Punisher? Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson shilling for an environmental website.

Wait till you see the same one except with Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich.

Robertson and Gingrich pushing for environmental awareness. What will the AGW deniers do now?

Vote D, vote R, vote for Ralph Nader...you're still electing a politician.

Scream that its all a plot by Fat Al Gore, and for a change they'll be right.

We Can Solve It is the new public awareness campaign led by Gore's group The Alliance for Climate Protection.

Other groups have done these Odd Couple spots before. They don't work at galvanizing support, but they are effective at reaching people who might be skeptical because of their political pov.

I think these commercial are more supporting evidence that people are profiting from the climate change scare. Why else do enemies come together? When they both will gain.

That right there is a golden nugget of wisdom. Best SBN quote in a long time.
