They're a hoot. I used to live in Hollywood where they're thick like flies. Over 8 buildings in an area less than 10 blocks long. I've been doing a lil' documentary project the last several years on them. Hard to do as they don't appreciate you taking pictures of them...
Here's a quick picture of their test center in Hollywood.
Five minutes after I left I was followed by this guy.
He decided to take some pictures himself.
This continued the better part of 15 minutes as he followed me to the library...

Since I last filmed on the blvd last summer I have been followed continually every time I show up in Hollywood. In fact they showed up at my house several months ago and were taking pictures of my bushes and mail box. Fun stuff.
haha ...trading pictures is funny..........they should get a security guy a little more buff...He doesn't look like he could whip an egg.

Scientology morons aren't actively trying to legislate my entire life and force our country to waste trillions of tax dollars for n-o-t-h-i-n-g. Some of it like alternative energy is fantastic and mandatory, but 80% of it is T-fucking-RASH.
I think I should check it out. If there is a place where I can find a concentration of really dumb millionaires that often foolishly give large sums of money away, I want to BE THERE.

That's a little nerve racking. Sounds like a good vacation idea though.
Those guys have a fierce legal team, don't piss them off too much [you probably already know that]. If that guy followed me after about a city block I'd either play some sort of trick on him or take his camera and see how fast he could run.
There is a big scientology center right* by the Univ of TX campus. It's about 50 yards down the side walk from the campus book store. They pay a fortune for that facility in rent, they are doing something right.

If you have a while to read, I would suggest doing a google search for "operation clambake." It's a website that exposes scientology and some of its fallacies and ethically questionable policies. The author of the site has posted some of the attempts on the part of the church of scientology to have his site shut down...scary stuff.
