Politics & Religion Well Since every damn forum has one. Might as well leave it out there. This place is loosely moderated and should not be entered if you're weak of heart.

Default anyone actually read this fools ramblings?

Barack Obama and the One-Drop Rule - News Bloggers

Dinesh D'Souza, keep seeing his op-eds everywhere, and I'm not sure why.

On the cover he seems like a guy I should like, but deep in my stomach I get queazy every time I read his work. Could it be that his reasoning probably resounds with many more, just without the sickening feeling. He manages to somehow combine fact, religion, and politics into a jumbled (and often pointless) mess that makes even some of our most misguided posters seem like Nobel laureates.

Quote:
Barack Obama keeps referring to himself as a black man....If this seems strange when you consider the fact that Obama has one black parent and one white parent, it is.
He doesn't stop at pointing out that the senator is following an antiquated racial definition (which is socially accepted, and wasn't defined by Obama), but goes on to attack his speech on race itself.

Quote:
Meanwhile, Garry Wills in the current New York Review compares Obama's race speech to one of the great speeches of Abraham Lincoln. When I read this on the plane I almost lost my peanuts!

How embarrassing it is to see intellectuals like Wills and sophisticated magazines like the New York Review of Books and the New Republic fawn and grovel over Obama!
There are better excerpts, but it's a short read, and you'll understand where I'm coming from.

If you read and enjoy this turd, please raise your hand so I can bitch slap you . Oh wait, you guys are probably three inches from the tv sucking the drivel off of O'Reilly's chin.

I haven't heard of him. From your excerpts, it might be good if he disappears back into anonymoty.

Never did get the appeal of this AEI fellow, even to rightys. I'll bet his dad is on the board of some corporation that underwrites his fellowship.
