....as long as Bush (Worst President in American History) is gone.
I mean, seriously, there is little real difference in the two. Reality is the Dems need to maintain control of Congress so we can get this country back on track.
First, your point is well taken (in a general sense), that there needs to be a non-GOP president for the next and probably next 2 terms--mostly to restore balance in the the judiciary.
But as to is there a difference, yes there is. Hillary has a long tail of parasites that she has to feed. Obama does not.
Edit to add: County, you must suck at games of chance.
Did any of you see where she was asked by a reporter exactly when was the last time she fired a weapon? She OF COURSE did not answer the qestion, she said that was not important.
This AFTER she said she was raised by her daddy to "hunt and shoot".

Such substance, such direction, so poignant and well thought-out.
Nah, no difference between the two. This whole election thing is for fun!

But would the Dems retain control of Congress if Hillary Clinton won the WH? History says no.
Dems retook control of Congress in 2006 only because the DLC Clintonites were driven out of the DNC and the leadership of the party after the 2004 races. There was no support for state and local Dem organizations while the Clinton's (via Terry McAuliffe) ran the DNC. Under their control from 1992-2004, the party was turned into a big-donor fundraising machine that used the money only for national races and Dems lost huge numbers of state and congressional races.
Even after the success of 2006, the Clintonites still tried to take back control of the DNC this year to turn it back into what it had been, and they still dismiss the grass roots revolution that got Dems elected in solidly red states in 2006.
Whoever wins the nomination will take control of the national party very soon thereafter. It's already happened on the Republican side, a McCain supporter has already been appointed to take over at the RNC. The same thing will happen not long after this nomination is wrapped up. Dean said last month that he will step down before the convention if the nomination is decided and someone handpicked by Obama or Clinton will take over. If Obama makes that call it will be someone who carries on Dean's 50 state strategy and concentrates on building local organizations. If Clinton wins, she'll put someone very much like Terry McAuliffe back in charge and he will undo everything that's been accomplished in the last three years. We will lose seats in Congress as a result.

If Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, John McCain will become the oldest newly elected president. Even if she was a viable candidate before, she just John Kerry'd herself with her duck hunting, working class parents spiel. It is painfully transparent. She is actually very religious, but to her credit, she doesn't make an issue of it for political gain. That's about the only thing I will give her credit for in this election cycle, though. She is getting more and more poisonous by the minute.

I concur with Gaolee's remarks. Recent polls show McCain has a slight edge over Obama and McCain has a sizable lead on Clinton. So, I think it does make a difference if you're talking about the general election. With regards to policy, Obama and Clinton share the same core values, but there's some divergence.
At any rate, I don't think I'm voting for Obama, Clinton or McCain. Only a third party candidate will get my vote this time.

Agreed. The more she talks, the more America realizes why she is so unlikeable.

It isn't even an issue of who is likeable and who isn't. I doubt if I would really like any of the candiates if I had to deal with them for very long. What bothers me, and I hope bothers most people, is her willingness to distort. McCain has some issues with distortions, but not as many. Obama is also guilty, but so far he seems the least guilty. Or maybe I am not paying attention. He just has some problems sticking his foot in his mouth, but after seven years of both feet up to the knees from dumb'ya, I am surprised anybody notices when a politician says something none to well.
