Default I don't wanna appear to be piling on, but...

who can resist the low hanging fruit?

What the HELL was Hillary thinking by having Mark Penn as her chief campaign strategist?

Does she vet ANYTHING in her agenda?

Mark Penn, CEO of a large advertising firm with luminary clients like:

Blackwater
Big Tobacco
Tuna Industry (downplaying mercury risks)
The Country of Colombia (nothing wrong with that EXCEPT if you're trying to push a free trade agreement for your client and but your candidate is against it)

But it's ok now.

He's resigned from the campaign and he was fired by the Country of Colombia.

Look there isn't any thing she won't say or due to win this race.
And the longer she looks like a blithering moron the better it looks for Obama.
Because let's face it, there really isn't much of a difference between her and the gop.
And if he, Obama, can kick her aside or rise above her shit throwing the harder it will be for the gop to put up a fight.

Does anyone get a feeling that this isn't going to be an especially good week for Hillary?

I predict at some point Clinton will file a law suit against Obama. What can she do when there is nothing left.

First of all, Penn hasn't fully resigned. He's still going to be providing the polling for the campaign, which in an organization like Clinton's means that he will be the de facto campaign strategist even if he doesn't have the title.

(Speaking of piling on, some smartasses have speculated that Clinton kept Penn as a pollster because he's the only one who will give her credit...)

Forget who he's worked for as a PR hack, Mark Penn's biggest problem as a political pollster is that his candidates lose. The last competitive race won by one of Penn's clients was Bill Clinton's second-term in 1996. In congressional and state races since, his candidates have lost again and again. He was fired by Al Gore in 2000, but not until after he did the exact same kind of damage we've seen him do to Hillary Clinton this year.

I suspect Penn lost the election for Hillary. It'll be interesting to read the post-mortem books.

Penn lost it now, or in the past? Don't you think Obama's camaign won? Her campaign has been pretty tin eared, but Obama has handled the inevitable dirt, smears, and mistkes a whole lot better than any campaign I can remember for a long time. Taking the whole Wright issue and turning it into what amounts to a teaching moment was brilliantly handled, whether you agree with any of it or not.

You know having Penn around isn't going to play well in Pennsylvannia, assuming people are paying attention. It is Appalachia, so you never know.

WTF? How do you figure? I haven't seen a single issue raised so far that she agreed with the GOP. Do you follow politics?

Just because Obama is to the LEFT of Hillary (which is saying something), doesn't mean she has any similarity to conservatives

I did read the post where you said that you were Iran, maybe you haven't been here long.

They're not mutually exclusive. Obama has run a brilliant campaign, no question about it. But Clinton made a bunch of big mistakes early, many based on Penn's strategic advice, and never even recognized that they were screwing up.

What I can't fully understand about the Clinton campaign is just how poorly run it has been. There was Bill's gaffe in South Carolina about Jesse Jackson. There was the Geraldine Ferraro moment. There were the bullets in Bosnia.

Penn's continuing to be a lobbyist for Columbia while running her campaign is yet another example of an amazingly myopic view of the world. I can't believe she is really so stupid, but there it is, all over the news.

It is almost like she is doing everything she can to screw it up. If Obama were not running such a flawless (to date) campaign, it wouldn't be so glaringly obvious.

Obama has done little wrong because that is what the press has pushed.

A Rev. White moment would have sunk anyone else immediately but the PC press allowed it.

Does anyone think it was fair that Howard Dean was shelved for yelling YEEHAAA!!

As for Hillary, BWHAHAHAHAHA
