I am disgusted by the one sided policies our Dept of State has in the conflict...we have nothign to gain and Israel doesn't need our support.

it's just a business arangement. if the palestinians could afford to buy more weapons the the Israelis im sure our gub'ment would change sides (or maybe sell to both, we call that a win - win situation).

but for now they have no problem keeping Israel stocked with our modern fighter jets and fighter jet accessories.

36 Egyptian security injured at border

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) — At least 36 Egyptian security personnel have been hospitalized, including some in critical condition, due to incidents with Palestinians on the breached border with Gaza, Egypt's foreign minister said Saturday.

Ahmed Aboul Gheit told reporters following a meeting with the Egyptian president and several cabinet ministers that between 10 and 12 riot police and 26 border guards, including two senior officers, were all in the hospital.

He said some were in danger of losing their lives due to "actions by Palestinian elements" over the past two days.

"These provocations cause us concern and our Palestinian brothers should note that the Egyptian decision to host them and ease their suffering should not result in threats to the lives of our sons in the Egyptian forces," he said.
