They don't lie and cheat because they are "forced to talk about complex subjects with limited information while on video the entire time"; they lie and cheat because they have power and they want more power and no one ever f-ing calls them on their bullshit. Just like any other kind of criminal behavior, start holding to their oaths to "protect and defend the Constitution", impeach and/or imprison those who break that oath and commit other crimes, and you'll start seeing better behavior out of them.

I'm with you PhilB. In the financial world I call home, when push comes to shove people get called on their $hit. The bottom line and unfulfilled promises don't go unnoticed and excuses are rarely even worth attempting. It's a little cut throat, it's a little harsh, but if you don't get the job done you are today's afternoon news and nothing more.
