Exclamation Message from Ron Paul

Message from Ron Paul

Dear friend,

Our American way of life is under attack. And it is up to us to save it.

The world's elites are busy forming a North American Union. If they succeed, as they did in forming the European Union, the good ol’ USA will only be a memory. We cannot let that happen.

The UN wants to confiscate our firearms and impose a global tax. The UN elites want to control the oceans with the Law of the Sea Treaty. And they want to use our military to police the world.

Our right to own and use property is fading because bureaucrats and special interests are abusing eminent domain.

Our right to educate our children as we choose is under assault. "No Child Left Behind" is seeing to that. And our right to say "no" to forced mental screening of our school-aged children is nearly gone.

The elites gave us a national ID card. They also gave us the most misnamed legislation in history: The Patriot Act. And these same people are pushing to give amnesty to illegal immigrants and erase our national borders.

Record government debt is putting a burden on our children and grandchildren that is shameful.

Yes. Our American way of life is under attack. And it's understandable that many are concerned, even discouraged, about the kind of country our children and grandchildren will inherit.

But we must never let discouragement become surrender.

One reason I am NOT discouraged is because I know I am not fighting alone. Each day I head out I know that you and thousands of other patriotic, freedom-loving Americans are right beside me, standing brave and true for what is good and right.

I need your help now, more than ever, to save the country we love...for the people we love.

My wife Carol and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary early this year. We are proud parents of five children and 18 grandchildren. We love them very much, as I know you love your family.

As a U.S. congressman, I always think about the well-being of my family and of all the families of our great nation when I cast a vote or introduce legislation. I also remember that I have sworn a solemn oath to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States.

For me, upholding that oath is the first and best way to preserve and protect the blessed American way of life for our children and grandchildren.

And now you know why I'm running for president of the United States.

I ask for your help. Please send your maximum donation today by going to https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/ .

Sincerely,

Ron

He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year."

Thanks why. Maybe you should do some research on the man and the future of America before spouting more uneducated bs nonsense.

^This troubles me. A man who is gonna advocate the uneducated BS of creationism. And with school shootings happening what in the hell is wrong with a pysch screening? Is it so wrong to try and stop and potential killer before it happens?

Then again, most of my beef has to do with his social issues. A man who believes facts can be determined by democracy bothers me.

And that letter reminds me of Bush's little "Fear O' Color Meter"

You may be looking at RP (and maybe other freedom candidates) the wrong way. The great thing about somebody like RP is that he doesn't believe government should be doing as much as it is, and thus *his* personal beliefs will not be shoved down your throat via government.

Using public schools as an example, if they did not exist (I believe they shouldn't) you pretty much wouldn't be forced to send your kid to a school where you don't agree w/ the curriculum.

Religious people can have their religious schools. Atheists can have their schools. Blacks can have their schools. And the list goes on.

I would clearly rather have somebody like RP who believes in less government and has strange personal preferences (goat sex) to a Christian Republican who wants to teach God in school or a Democrat who wants to teach homosexual anal intercourse in school.

I love guns and eating furry things ( ) but I don't want other people to be forced into having to learn how to hunt in a public school. Should be the choice of the anti-hunter to send his/her kids to PETA school.

So if RP is an atheist, devil worshipper, or God fearing Bible thumpin maniac it really doesn't matter.

And who pays for these private schools? Is he planning to disolve the public school system? If not then he leaves a door open with his policy of state laws for the bible belt retards to teach religious ignorance in school. furthermore, if he does then he helps cause more ignorance when some families cant afford a private school.

The states having more power sounds good until you realize that a big portion of our states would become grouped as "New Christianland" and damn near unlivable to normal people. And while "his Views" wont be shoved down our throat, the views of his fellow believers would shove them down our throat in their respective states.

IMO i think his views/plans need some re-thinking. There is an extent that you need some federal control.

I was going to type up something for discussion but I'm just at a loss for words. I'll leave you a link to the Constitution.

I'm not a God fearing man in any way, but God help this country.

Dear heavenly Father please forgive the others for the merciless beating they're gonna give ZQ.

Amen.

ZQ:

You and your kind are the reason we're in the situation we currently are.

I'll leave it at that.

If you can't figure it out on your own, I'm not going to waste my time. I've spent enough time in P&R to get my point across, and if a regular poster can't understand, it's a lost cause.

Here lies the solution. A turn to the market, a step away from over-bureaucratic government nonsense that's essentially putting the United States in great peril. Paul is a libertarian. By extension, this allows you to freely practice your value system and I can practice mine, and so forth.

In other words, and perhaps more succinctly, you can make your own choices for you and your family, as it should be. This is totally contrary to the status quo; We're witnessing an unprecedented grab for control by the government.

Why should I have to purchase insurance for my family's healthcare? Why should I have to purchase car insurance? Why do I have to wear a helmet on my head when I ride? Ad infinitum.
