He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.

He doesn't like freedom - read his comments in the thread about the flag hung upside down.

Thats it!

How is arguing about an arrest make me not like freedom? If you would have finished the thread, maybe you wouldn't have missed this, by officer737;

"Now to burst a few bubbles. They desecrated the flag by affixing the sign to it, not by hanging it upside down. Seems they may have been trying to provoke something rather than inform. They had already had one encounter by doing the same with the flag but without the sign affixed to it. Another officer told them that was legal and he is right, until they affixed the sign. Doing that near a National Guard post was pretty damn stupid though. Folks coming back from The Sandbox and seeing that, I am surprised something didn't happen sooner.

When an officer asks you to identify yourself during his offical duties and you refuse, they have the authority to detain you until your identification can be proven and that includes hauling your ass to jail and fingerprinting you. As common practice, officers run people they encounter thru NCIC for any outstanding warrants. When they refused and everything went to shit and they ran, at that point the officer could have been in fresh pursuit and as long as they can keep a visual on them and they run into a residence, the officer may pursue into the residence with the amount of force necessary without the obligation of a required search/arrest warrant. An example of this is a few years ago I chased a drunk driver a couple of blocks in a vehicle, he bailed and ran into his house with me right behind him, when he cleared the front door of his residence he shut it and I kick it in as I went thru the door and chased him all the way to a closet where a short scuffle ensued. If that situation was similar to mine, then the officer was justified."

Now go tell your mommy to make me a sandwich.

He's a Republican. That alone should disqualify him from becoming the next president. How stupid do you have to be to give that party another nod?

That's pretty shallow. Why should we simply disqualify somebody for the letter at the end of their name? With that logic, no wonder we're stuck in a power vortex created by the political duality of status quo...

Instead of just saying you weren't impressed with him, tell us what things you did not like? I'm sure you probably went to his website ronpaul2008.com and read through the issues page... right? If you have, tell us what you do not agree with him on?
