i hate reading this kind of shit b/c it infuriates me to the point where i want to break something.
this is some total BULLSHIT!!!!! at what point do we stop fuckin' catering to the minorities and treating everyone as equals?
EDIT:
after reading it again, the school fucked up and the reason is they live outside the attendance area, i think the news threw focused on English first to inflame the situation a bit . . . but i still stand by my original statement, not for this story but overall.

Not true. Same school, multiple dropoffs, different routes. There is no excuse for not giving a kid a ride home because of the language they speak and you know it.

They aren't supposed to be on that bus route in the first place. Get it?
How does that alleviate them from their responsibility as agents in the education system that has several duties, one of which (and perhaps one of the most critical) is to safeguard their welfare?

So if your kids were picked up by a bus and taken somewhere you wouldnt want the driver to take responsibility and take them back home? Have some sense man. The driver who picked them up was responsible for their well being, furthermore the school was responsible for not informing the parents of the situation as stated in the artical.
That was the same bus they had always used, but the school changed the rules without informing the parent. Schools fault, bottem line. Get it?
