Three minute mark:

First 9/11 reference! That certainly didn't take long.

I did. Regardless of my political disposition as compared to the sitting president, I make an effort to watch every presidential address. I think it's important. What's more, I also listen to the congressional retort from the other party.

I generally do to...

...but once in a while I need a break. Missed this one and pretty much think I could predict how it went. I'm sure I'll get the gist of it over the next few days.

Transcripts are already posted on major news outlet websites.

I'm critical for two reasons. First being how the proposed "new" strategy is differnet from the former. There wasn't enough information that was in the address, like actual numbers relevant to the current battalion/division configuration (Bush mentioning his proposed setup, but didn't volunteer what's currenty deployed). I also wish there was more military data and strategy that justifies the troop increase.

However, that being said, it's a plan. I think they need to develop several alternatives using other troop levels, current troop levels and complete combat withdrawal and at different stages of the process. I don't think this has happened yet.

Where I live:
-15 steps to the front, you fall to your death in a valley
-15 steps behind the house, you fall and break your legs on trees
-50 steps to the left, you might get to see the only neighbor (i havent seen her)
-50 steps to the right, vacant lot (the last one on the road)

technically i live in the Carmel Highlands or something stupid like that
