- There are significant differences in how Buddhists worhip from India, to China, to Korea, to Japan (I imagine difference elsewhere too). For example Koreans worship at a temple (usually located high on a mountainside) but Japanese have small Buddhas inside their house to worship at home.
- A few elements of Buddhism I respect are: 1) they are not going to recruit you by shoving it down your throat, if you want it you have to seek it out and 2) they are less materialistic, don't expect anywhere near the same amount of money as tithes, donations, etc and 3) they treat animals kindly because or the reincarnation aspect (and I'm not a PETA fanatic, not even a vegetarian, I just think it is nice not to be cruel to animals).
