Has Bush put out the new Iraq plan that he was 'listening' to everyone and putting off until the new year yet? He sidestepped through the holidays, so whats the new deal here?
The new plan is to act like Officer Bar Brady, and eventually Iran/Syria will work out a deal to help partition Iraq, without US interference, as teh Iraq Study Group suggested we do.

are you kidding???? No way in hell would and Islamic country go for a partitioning if Iraq. Hell, the Green Zone is already a contentious issue among radical Muslims.

actually that's news to me tim, for the past 2 years the armed forces were struggling very hard to meet their goals. The information you posted is recent, and not a representation of the big picture of what's happening.

I think both Syria and Iran know that the alternative is that they fight each other eventually. Iran is supporting Shias and Syria is supporting sunnis, and they currently have no direct strive with each other. They both have influence over the sunni insurgents and shia death squads.
The only thing that interests me is how the Kurds will interact with Turks when the US disappears. All those Turkish invasions over the past 30 years are going to bite them, eventually.
That's a bit misleading, since they have been missing their goals solidly since late 2004 AND they've dropped their standards significantly to meet their goals. One month doesn't make up for the rest.

Actually Syrian governing family are shia so them supporting sunnis is out. Syria and Iran also work hand and hand and have no problems what so ever with each other so this scenerio isn't gonna happen.

If the services were meeting their goals then why are they stretched thin in Iraq... they have no excuses and not enough man power and most Americans are not too gleefully excited about serving for a presedents personal agenda with no benefit to the country.

They are a monarchy and they would oppose any islamic republic.
I also said that they will work together, so I dont know what you're disagreeing about..
