The whole assumption here is that the "pancake theory" is what brought the towers down. It turns out that not even the government is using this argument anymore, they either had to change their arguments or were forced to backtrack from it.
"NIST’s findings do not support the “pancake theory” of collapse, which is premised on a progressive failure of the floor systems in the WTC towers (the composite floor system—that connected the core columns and the perimeter columns—consisted of a grid of steel “trusses” integrated with a concrete slab; see diagram below). Instead, the NIST investigation showed conclusively that the failure of the inwardly bowed perimeter columns initiated collapse and that the occurrence of this inward bowing required the sagging floors to remain connected to the columns and pull the columns inwards. Thus, the floors did not fail progressively to cause a pancaking phenomenon."
It appears now they are stating that the building imploded inwardly. Of course by using this argument they are taking into account that there was building resistance to collapse in which case they run right into the wall of why the buildings collapsed as quickly as they did. The bottom line is the feds have written and rewritten their story about what happened, and you can't trust anything they say.
There are numerous firefighter and eyewitness accounts that explosions were going off in the building prior to collapse. I think Occam's razor applies to this, and we should probably not deny that the buildings were purposely brought down, and 9/11 was an American Reichstag that was used to corral the American people into wars they would have not otherwise have supported.
Great find there!
They have debunked the whole premise of someone's earlier pancake argument....ergo...
We now see that the steel "pulled" the building in on itself...
I could post actual firefighter and eyewitness testimony, on camera and at the scene, and you would still shut your eyes and close your eyes. You are scared.
Post away. Reputable sources would be appreciated. ie. your blog doesn't count.
"...then somebody said that they saw an airliner go into one of those towers. Then, an hour later than that we had that big explosion from much, much lower down and I don't know what caused that."
"If you've seen many of the managed demolitions where they implode a building and they cause it to essentially to fall vertically because they cause all of the vertical columns to fail simultaneously, that's exactly what it looked like and that's what happened"
After reading this argument i think some of you guys are on drugs or should be. Let me clear something up for some of the dimwits in here. The Towers were built to implode rather then fall over on their side to prevent colateral damage in the event of a structural failure or outside force over stressing towers. The towers were built with their main supporting strucuture being the external frame of the building. It was quite unconvetionaly consructed. So as the tower gave way the top just collapsed to the floor below it crushing the floor below it and sending that down to. So you go from having the weight and force of one floor crumbling to the weight of 2 floors,to the weight of 3 floors, then the weight of 4 floors and so on until the tower is fully collapsed. The poofs seen on the video was the incredible amount of air pressure created by the collapse as the floors collapsed one on top of the other slowly gaining momentum.
I think jim said "reputable". Whatreallyhappened.com != reputable.
Regardless of what you think of the hosting site, the video tapes are the actual thing, real people and firefighters at the scene telling you what happened.

Mark Twain once said, "Faith is believing in what you know ain't so". It seems that people, like other animals, become most fervent when facing the inevitable. There are no facts or figures in this post, so some of you have already tuned out.
