That's a stretch. A stringer photographer enhanced some smoke in his pictures to make them more salable. He got fired for it.

No but I sure see alot of Israeli's killing innocent arabs/christians, and then the American "Christians" over here saying it's ok because they are "god's chosen people". Fuck your misguided hatred. All the Israeli jews are safe in their bomb shelters undeground, leaving mostly arab israelis to die in the streets. But what in the fuck is a handful of Israeli civilian deaths daily compared to the destruction of an entire country.

None of you seem to understand that most all major television networks are operated by jews.

I dont think any of us can speak for the motives of the individual in question. But it could be a question of crediblity, if any news agency were to keep anyone on the staff and payroll, were it had been proven that they had alterd photographs etc. no matter how trivial, there there thin vener of impartiality would be in question.The differnece between propaganda and true news so to speak

I can. He got paid by the picture and was in competition with all the other freelancers taking the same picture. He cheated for money. Can anyone argue that more smoke or more flares made those pictures more effective for propoganda purposes? No, they just made them more visually interesting.

Reuters was quick to dismiss him from the freelancer pool, as they should have.

There are much more valuable propoganda images available. No doctoring is needed to produce disgusting photos of innocent Lebanese corpses, right?

We're even having this discussion because the frontline images are disgusting and the people who support the Israeli invasion and tactics are looking for a rationalization to ignore them. It's simply the search for a reason to pretend it ain't quite so awful.

ANYTIME a non-combatant gets killed, it is tragic and unfortunate. But the fact of the matter is that more Lebanese civilians are being killed because these "honorable" fighters happen to hide in the middle of the populace. Hezbollah and Hamas dont wear uniforms, they dont have military sites, and they use the general population as human shields. They take cheap shots from peoples houses, they fire rockets from schoolyards, and they hide weapons in daycares. Israel's bombs kill civilians, but that is not their intention. However, it is the SOLE purpose and M.O. of Hezbollah, and Hamas to kill as many civilians as possible. Except for a few times, Hezbollah and Hamas attack "soft" civilian targets, like markets, and discos'. They are not trying to drive Israel out by military force, they are trying to make Israel's people call for a withdrawal from within. And all the people killed are only making sure that the next generation of orphaned kids will continue the fighting.
