Sorry, but Jesus never existed and even if he did, he was a shitty philosopher and a fruitcake. Besides, he did not die for our sins since he rose on the third day, right? So how could he die then if his homies saw him at a later date? Lets not forget that if he ascended into heaven then his life got better after he died, so I don't owe that shitheel a goddamn thing. What a waste...

Nice interview explaining a bit about Jehovah's Witnesses. Sadly, at this point in time, I could care less. They've pissed me off too far already by knocking on my door almost daily.

I don't have a problem with 'em. I used to study with JW's for several years prior to highschool and for two - three years of highschool.

I made the choice to stop my bible study and stop going to Kingdom Hall and start pursuing some of my other "worldly" interest. I chose NOT to serve "two masters". I was a baptism away from knocking on your door on Saturday's. I still have a lot of respect for the organization.

I personally don't believe any religion or the existance of a "supreme being", but to just shit all over someone else's faith is just mean.
Some people need to have faith, as silly as some of those beliefs are to others. Tom Cruise is a perfect example. He believes some pretty crazy stuff, but he's entitled to that.
I WILL say that Tom Cruise (or any other Scientologist) has never knocked on my door peddling his beliefs, though.

A Heavenly Home, huh Ninja? How did you come to the conclusion that when you die you will go to a place in the sky where there is no sex but the only thing to do is kiss the ass of some deity or if you don't, burn in an oven for all eternity? That's not my idea of a good time. In fact, our friends in the Middle East have the same barbaric belief system as you do and look what happened to them. When you're dead, you're dead and that's it so don't be afraid to get on your bike without some jewish carpenter waiting for you in the next life just so you can wash his feet or whatever you guys do on your day off. The fact that I will not live on after death will make me more cautious about the chances I take when I ride, believe me.

Only by accepting a philosophy such as secular humanism, where the needs of people come before the needs of a man-made myth figure, will the human race progress to a point where rational thought prevails. Religious societies tend to be very violent and unstable as well as intellectually retarded.

Elta: According to other literature, Hell isn't only an oven. Some of the other methods of paying for your sins sound much more fun.

You must be so anti Jesus that you're against science. Even those that do not believe the Bible and believe in good ol' science know that Jesus did exist. If he did rise from the dead or perform miracles..? That's another issue.
