To tell you the truth some illegal aliens are actually doing honest work to help the country grow... Don't generalise them by people like this example.
I should know because 2 of my friends have been deported and they were among the most honest and hard working people I know.

About this guy... He should be put in for a jail term, then release to Mexico.

Not to be too smart ass. But your avatar says Toronto, and last I checked, that was Canaday not America. I deal with the good and the bad, well, the rest is political and with my current job I'll will keep my personal opinion personal.

Oh Jesus, not this shit again.

Let me elaborate:

I advocate punishing those that actually commit crimes. While I am torn on the drunk driving debate, my pure thought is if they actually f up and kill someone or get in an accident while intoxicated, then punish them. Do not pre-emptively punish those that have simply had a beer with dinner and are driving home to their family.

Now, with that being said, EVERY SINGLE ILLEGAL ALIEN IS HERE ILLEGALLY.

If you don't understand that, "you're fucking dense" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Now, to be consistent with this process, it's not the fact it's simply a crime to be here, just as its a crime to drink and drive.

Being here illegally means that you are draining our system. Beyond the fact of using our public facilities without paying taxes, the drain on the medical sector has become enormous. Our system is being circumvented while those that are going through the process to get here legally are being punished. We encourage detrimental behavior by giving Mexicans (primarily) a pass because they're "hard working".

So to summarize: have a drink, drive a car... POSSIBLY hurt someone.

jump the border... consistently hurts every citizen.

Honest and Hard Working doesn't mean they're paying taxes.

So he's a US citizen? With a funny accent? And slurry speech? Go figure. I'd never have guessed.

Agreed! Not to mention vehicle insurance, waiver on some business taxes, alot seem to skip out on their medical bills.

My experience with illegal aliens is this: I know several of them. One in particular got his citizenship, worked and retired from 2 companies, put 2 kids through college and a 3rd graduated from the Naval Academy and he learned English! That is a person trying to make the life them and their family better. The ones that piss me the fuck off are the ones that come up here, do not make a positive contribution to their community, get out and get drunk and run over people and then bail and run like hell from the scene, packed 15 people into a 2 bedroom house and make sure an unsafe living enviornment for all involved, fight with one another and the cops, destroy the places they rent to the point the residence has to be condemned, run up bills and then skip out on them, bring in illegal narcotics, support the crack whores by soliciting prostitution, neglect their children and a host of other shit. Come to this country to make a better life good for them.....come to this country just to fuck it up then go back to your own country! And learn to speak fucking American....I am tired if having to learn new languages all the time.

This happens all the time, regardless of immigration status.

Drunk drivers should hang for this shit, period.

Poses an interesting question doesn't it? Do we speak English or American?

I guess I agree with Fargin on that point. The fact is they're breaking multiple laws that should be dealt with as separate offenses. Years ago I lost a friend to a drunk driver who happened to come from an upstanding wealthy white family. The fact that the kid got off without having to do any real time to me spoke of the role of privaledge in our legal system.

So yes, anything like this should carry the option of capital punishment regarless of whether they're illegal or not.

Reminds me too much of the way media sensationalize accidents involving motorcycles. The car was doing 95 through a residential neighborhood when he struck and killed the guy on the motorcycle going through the intersection without a helmet. In a situation like that, what the hell difference would a helmet have made?

White/Black, rich/poor, legal/illegal, something like this should carry capital punishment as an option.

I agree with you. About a year or so ago a friend of mine's daughter got hit by a drunk driver...we stopped him a few mins. later and I charged him with DUI, vehicular assault, leaving the scene of a personal injury collision, failure to render aid at the scene of a traffic collision and poss. of marijuana. It turned out being a state representative's son. He got 1 year in jail but only served 3 months and got a holiday furlough and never went back. His daddy stepped in and "took care" of the matter. The girl still has medical problems and will for the rest of her life.
