It's not a trick question. The more Israel attacks the more Hizbollah grows so the answer is still the same: no Israel cannot win.
So the more we attack the insurgents, the more the insurgency grows so the answer is still the same: George Bush is an idiot...semi off topic but true.
Using the same Logic, lets turn the question around:
Can the US reach it's objective of eliminating Al Queda...or even Terrorism.
And my answer is No...I found it hard to imagine beating Ideology.

Not militarily no, it cannot. But Al Queda is a manufactured threat to begin with. Only an idiot would believe the monkey when he says "terrorists hate America's freedom".

Isreal will win once the US is drawn in.
We will bomb the fuck out of all the islamic states that want to battle with us and ultimately have more sporadic terrorism sects spread around and all out holy war will come about again.

You think the United States and Israel alone have the power to do any of that? You are a dreamer. Iran will have already desecrated our troops in southern Iraq, Syria will move in for the kill, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan will be forced by their citizenry to fight to eliminate the zionists, Russia will be defending Iran, and China isn't going to allow the United States to get away with any counter attack on Iran.
Your foolhardy assumptions about American military strength will be crushed by the rest of the world.
EDIT: Oh and I forgot, Turkey will be invading Northern Iraq to stop Kurdish terrorists' incursions in their country once it realizes the United States can't do a damn thing to stop them.
EDIT #2: Oh oh oh, and nevermind that the moment that this starts, the price of gasoline will be around 22 dollars a gallon or so, and the people of the United States will riot. And then President Bush declares martial law, and then you are truly a slave.
