Bush the frat boy and his groping of the German Chancellor
I just saw this. If you can defend this behavior between World Political Leaders you are an idiot. Look at her face. What a maroon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPArZwLHi2Y
I love how everyone is using the word GROPE. To me, that would be him grabbing a handful. He went to give a friendly back rub, and in his stupidity, realized maybe thats not the best idea, much too late. As usual.
It looks like he is secretly wanting to choke the shit out of her. Either way, definately inappropriate behavior, and he knows it - again, too late - again, as usual.
You know, I looked, amazingly enough, I cant find one documented comment on this in the German press. Go figure. I guess the news is slow in the US?

Its not really a grope. It's just more sordid when you say it like that.
Honestly though, he was probably trying to be friendly and warm but this is now the 21st Century and that kind of stuff is frowned upon.

I don't think that it's frowned upon in the 21st. I really think it's frowned upon by him. He's not well liked anywhere, especially internationally. I haven't checked his recent approval rating, but it was something like 35%. I surely don't care for the guy... spends more time in Crawford then he does the White House. I could go on , but I'm not.
With so much else to criticize about Bush, I'm amazed at the traction this story is getting. It seems to have blown up. I guess its because Bush has already reached the "butt of jokes" stage of his decline.

I'm starting to realize how out of place this guy is in world politics. It's like inviting a redneck to a black tie dinner party, then acting surprised when he gets drunk and starts hitting on the guests. Who didn't see it coming?
I wonder what the German version of the secret service was doing when this was going on. Wouldn't they have had at least a few words about making unwanted touches on heads of state?
