Learning and understanding isn't a hobby that involves hearing stories about the olden days, and finding context within those stories. It's about finding the context of those stories within a world of meaning.

yes but too many people do not understand that any more, I only consider it a hobby as in I go out of my way to do it. Whens the last time you went to a VA hospitol or Rest home to visit someone you didnt know?

Speaking from the paradigm that I'm one of the people currently collecting unemployment benefits while spending considerable time researching my next career move instead of working at McDonalds, perhaps there are aspects to your communications and underlying assumptions that you have not considered.

if you are getting unemployment I assume you are freshly seperated military or laid off. I congratulate you on bettering yourself with school, but why (not being a prick actually curious), work at the same time or apply for loans instead of free handouts. and why do you two keep saying shit like I am considering myself moraly superior, you guys are judging my life, and telling me it was or wasnt worthwhile. thats BS. and no one has the right to do that.

You two sitting there and telling me that I did a lot of shit that the only reason other people cant do, is that they dont try, and that I should have used goverment assistance instead, was the wrong thing to do. All I got to say is contribute to society is that too much to ask from anyone, thats who pisses me off is people who dont contribute, you Dave have been paying unemployment ins for the lastat least 36 years, and now something happened so you are using the chance to get an education. GOOD!

Am I sitting here saying that I think less of you as a person in your circumstance. Absolutly not. Am I saying that someone sitting on welfare for 5 years and not even using govt assistanace to go to voc tech school is a POS. Absolutly.

All I really have to say is that the democratic party is a bunch of silcon valley washouts that want to protect themselves and their way of living, the republican party is a bunch of just as spoiled kids trying to do the same thing the only problem is doing what they need to survive clashes with each other.

the only limits I had growing up was financial ones.

I do not and never will accept charity, I usually only speak to those willing to listen, so not sure why I am wasting my time, and I only listen to those willing to say something different every once in a while instead of reiterating the same damn thing over and over and calling it an arguement.

I am not judging anyone as less of a person for their beleifs are circumstances.

but when it comes down to it and you corner a dog their are two types:

1) rolls over and accepts the fact that he has been had says screw it gives up and lives

I would rather have a full proud life with accomplishments to look back on and teach the younger generation even though it may mean dieing a few years earlier.
