There's only one problem with that. If unemployment falls below, say 3%, workers will be in the driver's seat and wages will show significant rise.

That's a very un-Republican situation, letting the value of this commodity rise. That's why they oppose a rise in the minimum wage; not because it would hurt the bottom line by itself, but because it might make the next tier up able to command a raise. They may have voted to actually take them away (yet) but they did pass the assault weapons ban which was a step towards taking them away. Its a good thing Bush let the ban sunset. Now I can buy a 90round Beta C mag on the AR-15.

Did you notice that the crime is DOWN in the same year that the assault weapons ban went away.

Ok, where did THOSE statistics come from? Please tell us.

What kind of crime? What localities? What are the exact stats? How about this one? Are there stats showing where a firearm was used to PREVENT that crime?

I'll bet this is just more monkey behavior and there isnt a shred of proof. Besides- How about starting a new thread as this one has to do with unemployment and the like.

How about this for a thread title:

"Homophobic, inbred, feces throwing monkey says crime is down because the assault weapons ban lapsed".

That's not a cause/effect situation though. The number of states legalizing gay marriage has increased since the assault weapon ban went away. I guess by your logic, you could say that assault weapons make people turn gay.

You'd better lock that AR-15 away before you start checking out the other guys at the range.
