Perhaps the only thing political about this is the way it appeals to my Libertarian ideals.
One often hears urgings from various political groups that corporations act ethically and responsibly.
Here is one corporation that is doing just that; BB&T Bank has announced it will not lend money to or do business
with developers who steal property using the power of eminent domain:

For some reason, I doubt their policy will be lauded by many of the groups who typically call for "socially responsible" corporations. :-)
