The stories are pure fabrication. Never before has retention been higher in the US Army. Even among units that have been deployed, most meet and exceed their retention goals.

Don't take my word on it, hear what the Secretary of the Army says. that would be Dr. Harvey.

Sure, recruitment goals have been missed, but not by much. And recruits have NO experience in the Army so if anything, the media is working overtime to make the Army seem dangerous when in fact, MORE recruit-aged people are killed each day in traffic crashes...it is safer to serve in the Army than drive.

The Air Force and Navy are having little to no issues with people. The Army is having a lot of 2nd termers get out. Also, they are having a problem keeping Captains in. I wouldn't say that we are stretched so thin as to be at a breaking point but it sure would suck if N. Korea kicked off right now.

The way I see it, is that if shit really hits the fan, youll see people lining up to join.

Constantly sending out our boys and girls to control oil or your political interests is the cause of many a persons aggravation. But bet your ass if someone attacks us..............it would be a different story.

This Thread has turned somewhat retarded, halfway of topic, and once again Malik and Hybrid hit it on the nose. Just what ever it is I'm not really sure.
