i've never changed the exhaust on a bike until now since its hard finding aftermarket exhaust that isn't LOUD. i do quite a bit of riding so i didn't want something that would make my ears ring, draw attention, or piss off the neighbors when i head out early. i finally just splurged and bought one.
i'm happy with the sound: deeper than stock and just as quiet until around 7k rpm, then it start to scream. i went with a pipe designed for the 06/07 bike which eliminates the cat so it requires cutting the catalytic converter off and notching the new slipon to fit around the SET valve.
i know its just an exhaust, but i'm excited about it (that and things are starting to slow down on here already, so if no one else is gonna post stuff i will). i figure between losing the stock muffler, the catalytic converter, passenger pegs, and rear fender, i should have the wet weight under 410 (432 stock)

Yeah, I got 6000k in mine and it's plenty bright. On my 05 the projector isn't aimed high enough to really change the beam pattern though, so I'm thinking of retro fitting a TSX projector. Looks good though.
PS: Check out Gixxerboys.com, they have the pilot light LED will match your HID nicely for 10 bucks.
