Default Pics of Baby Ninja with Mods Done

Alright guys. I've been doing some work on my Ninja 250 for the last couple of weeks. These pictures represent the bike as it's going to be until next spring. I have a Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen on the way, and I will put that on, but I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get any pictures any time soon.

The first picture is the left side of the bike. Notice that there isn't any exhaust on that side?? The chain protector is off for right now...I'm cleaning it up to put back on.

The second picture is from the front right of the bike. Notice the Kerker full exhaust system on that side??? NICE!!!

The third picture is from the back right side. It also shows off the Kerker exhaust system. It also shows the pod mounted rear turn signals.

The fourth picture is from down by the rear wheel. It shows the Suzuki SV-650 sourced shock that's in the rear.

The last picture shows the Uni pod filters that are on the bike. Inside those carbs is a FactoryPro Stage 3 jet kit.

The double bubble screen will be put on as soon as it comes. I MAY be able to get a picture of it after I get it on. My mods I'll be buying and possibly installing this winter are some stainless steel brake lines from Galfer and some Sonic Springs for the front forks of the bike.

Let me know what you all think!!

Hows the power difference with the pipe and airfilters? How noisy? My dad has been saying that I may have to make do with my ninja for a while so I'm thinkin about modding it.

And yeah, about those tires......

Power difference was rather noticeable to me. I'm guessing only about 10% more, which is about 3hp to the ground...but the box of parts that I put on weighed in at about 13 pounds...the box of parts I took off weighed over 40. So basically, I increased my top power by 10%, but decreased my wet weight by over 10%. So I feel that the power has been increased quite a bit.

Just an example, I used to top out at about 97mph in a full tuck on the baby Ninja. Now, I can hit 97 without tucking at all. In a full tuck, I'm hitting up to about 105mph or so (that is measured with a GPS, not the speedo on the bike).

The ONLY issue that I have with the whole thing is that the Kerker pipe is LOUD. It's insanely loud. It's actually louder than my friends Kawasaki cruiser something. It's nothing that some ear plugs can't handle, but it's definitely not the same quiet Ninja it was before.

And yah, don't get me started on the tires. I went to the bike shop and got quoted $200 for some "sport" replacement tires. I told them "Let's do it" when I got there, those were the tires I had. I asked him what happened to the "sport" tires, and he said that those were them. Well, I needed some new tires as it was, so I figured those would last until next spring.

Pipe was found on Ebay for $200. It's a good $150 less than the cheapest pipe I'd seen for the Ninja 250, and it was in GREAT shape. It's got a tad bit of surface rust on the header, but nothing that wouldn't be expected on any pipe that's been actually on a bike.

Alright guys, I've done a couple of more things in the last few days.

First, I cut off the spots on the tail where the stock signals used to mount...now it's just flush with the bottom of the tail.

Also, I RAN OVER my chain guard with my car, and broke it to bits. So, for now, I guess I'm gonna run without a chain guard...
