I thought I would share some pics from some of my sledding this year.
I have not been on in awhile (usually on snowwest.com in the Winter) but Spring is coming and it is going to be time to get the R6 out soon.
My snowmobile is a 2005 Arctic Cat M7, Suzuki makes engines for Arctic Cat so it is a Suzuki 2 stroke 700, 150 HP sled is 460 lbs dry It rips. We mostly do extreme hill climbing and mtn riding.

Looks fun, i've never been on a snowmobile before though. Do you ever get paranoid of avalanches??
Yea, funny you ask because I wear an ABS airbag backpack with a rip cord just for avalanches. On this pic the orange handle is the rip cord . the pack has a nitrogen charged canister that fills 150 liters into an airbag within 2 secs. The idea is you wont get buried you ride on the surface of the snow.
Sweet, bro. I would really like to try that stuff once... just as long as I was able to get where it was warm right after.

nice pics, looks like fun but I really don't care for the cold that much.
Believe it or not but it is hard work to wrestle that sled around all day , and I am usually sweating hard. Our riding style is to stand up and usually standing on one side of the machine, from that posistion I can manuever the machine where I want. I can even do a 180 turn from a standing stop.
But I would have to say my favorite move is to side hill mtns. Standing on one side and pulling up you can cut across mtns with one ski hugging the mtn and the other in the air.
