it was around 50 degrees and decided that it was warm enough to get out one more time. Roads were in decent shape, although we did run across some gravel and a bunch of sand on some of the backroads.
We rode in places with snow right up to the edge of the road. Hit cty D, cty X, 95, and cty Q over by Independence etc. and back up to Buena Vista lookout where we posed our bikes on the steps precariously for a few photos overlooking the Mississippi River valley. We also met a police car driving up to the lookout... if you know the road you know it's posted at 25 mph, but we went by him doing 50 maybe hehe. We saw brakelights, but we kept going and never saw him behind us and we pulled way off the road by the lookout.
A nice way to end a great year!

......too bad it has to end.....but, there is always the sled (if you like that sort of thing 
)....all you need now is snow.
