Is that a motorcycle jacket? If so it looks WAY to big for you. It is too big for you.

why, look at his bike. he's touring... not racing . before you say anything I know why he needs a snug jacket but if your not racing, track days or stunting why not ride in comfort. I been riding for more than 20 years now. I have a collection of riding gear. some lose to put extra shirt under it for cold days and some almost skin tight for track days. dress for the ride your doing I always say

I think something that fits perfect feels more comfortable than something that is way to big. At the same time you don't need to be racing, at the track or stunting to wreck. I guess I dress for the drunk driver that's waiting to hit me, even though I quite riding street cause, its not you its others.

the drunk can run over you walking down the street, do you wear it then? just saying your choice of how it fits is different than yours. so what if its to big. you think he needs it to be pointed out? he's wearing it, he knows its big or not. atleast he's wearing a jacket, not a wife beater.

Point exactly, maybe he didn't have the knowledge before he bought it and now after reading my post he does. Then here you are talking about its perfectly fine to be 20 sizes to large so that it doesn't do its job to the fullest extent. I guess its a good thing pavement is less hard the slower you go.

some day you'll grasp the whole motorcycle aspect. I used to be like you, all I thought about was track days, speed, the latest bike. the coolest gear.
now I think of the freedom the motorcycle allows and enjoy the ride and not the thrill of blasting from one point to another, not seeing whats around.

I agree that is ill fitting jacket to be out acting stupid on. but it doesn't look as if he's playing in traffic doing wheelies. theres idiots everwhere and a jacket isnt going to protect you from a drunk running you over.

I'm not as slow or stupid as you think I am. I been riding sportbikes for over 20 years, track days for 10 years. thats longer than you guys been alive and been doing track days before you had pubes.
I wear a certain amount of gear when I ride and I try to ride with some respect for my safety.
but one of the biggest laughs out of all this is you guys bitching about his jacket and whining about how its not going to protect him but you fail to mention about his jeans. now are you going to lecture him about that?

That is a pretty nice pic isn't it, but its also nice that you didn't know that's a blocked off road. Plus I had pants on underneath the jeans. Sometimes we say older and wiser but I don't think that applies to this situation.

As to his picture I thought many people were gear underneath their jeans but I guess that might just be me. Whats also funny about not knowing me is I don't speed on the street and any one that rides with me could tell you that. So I would go ahead and stop complaining about me and get back on topic.

I'll go ahead and not attack you because I am younger and more mature.
