Nice bike, I love the color. Sucks about the dog, are you planning on fixing that fairing?

Great looking bike... and yeah... that incident with the dog sounds horrible! Were you hurt? Was the dog still alive after that?

Thanks for the comments guys!

Yes the freakin' dog lived unfortunately. The little mutt ran away after it got hit. If I could have ran, I would have killed it myself. haha

I wasn't hurt that bad. I had on my jacket and helmet. The helmet was destroyed on the front and the jacket had road burns on the shoulders and back.

I contemplated for 5 minutes on whether or not to wear my gloves that day and it bit me in the ass. My hands were pretty scarred up. LIVE and LEARN I guess.

I am in the process of getting his homeowner's insurance to cover the damage to the bike. Couple grand in damaged. Scratched swingarm, fairing, cracked upper, engine cover, etc.

And now that you mention it, the bike does look like a preying mantis, good thing I like the way they look. haha

looks good man

have you had a passenger on the bike yet? only reason why i ask is because of the passenger grab rails. my bike doesn't have them but my girlfriend wants me to put them on...

thinking about doing it but most likely won't

I have only ridden a passenger around a parking lot, but the grab rails were useless. I just had her hold on to me. Felt much safer that way.

Did you know that most dogs are hit within three miles of their home?

I want frame sliders, but the only decent ones made for the old school zx-6r is made by RG and I cant find anywhere to purchase them. All the other brands are no cut types and are useless.

And I believe what you said about the dogs getting hit three miles from home! This one was within 100 feet!
