Here's some pics of the rebuild of my GSXR-1000. Here's "Evening Mist". The Service Manager said that she should be ready by Monday, but possibly this Saturday if things go good.

Nope. The Yoshi is one of the upgrades (also with the Power Commander, and they're going to do about 15 Diag. test. Which will be Saturday.)

The exhaust (w/ power commander) should take if from around 156 Horsepower to 175 Horsepower.

You wrecked it that bad? I thought it was just some minor scrapes on one side? Lucky fellow, doesnt sound like you even got hurt, which is always a good thing!

Yeah, I lowsided between about 50 to 60 MPH. The leather saved my arse, and the fact that I was already draggin with the my head only about 1 - 2 feet off the road before the center mass changed and I struck.

A complete outter overhaul, and of course with the power commander, some interior now.

I sustained some ruptured blood vessels in my lower right leg (NO pain). A small 2 inch burn (road rash, redness only) on my left forearm, and a bruise from hell (slowed my sex life) on my right palm where I held onto the bike, pushed the handle bar as far and as hard forward as I could to make the front tire to grab traction as I applied front braking in attempt to slow my skid on the asphalt too slow my impact speed into the ditch, ground and imbankment. It did slow me quite a bit.

That's what I've been advised. They're going to do about 15 diagnostic tests. Should have a complete read out from beginning to end. I thought the same thing, but they're the techs, if they say it can be done, by all means let it be done.
