i did mine very subtle with some pearl.

i started with the color from Honda's auto line: "nighthawk black pearl"

and then i added a bit more blue to it. So it looks like a deep black until it's in the sun, and it shows a tint of blue.

I could have gone for a fully tricked out look, but this is really cool looking and still under the radar.

i don't have any good pics, as my bike is in pieces, but PM me if you want some pics and i'll wash up the bodywork tomorrow and take some photos.

EDIT: here's a pic of the stock honda color, you can see a bit of blue on the lower bumper in the reflection. I added more blue to it so it's got a little more contrast.

I was thinking about a black with red pearl...but after seeing how sexy those white bikes are, i don't know...I work in a graphics shop where we have a lot of paints come in, and a lot of pearls on hand...I may have to throw some color on some scraps laying around and see what i come up with...

Hey kevin, If you don't mind, could you show me a couple pics with the sun catching the pearl? I just want to see if it's the effect i'm going for. thanks

Yeah, no problem- i'll need to get them out sometime this week to put the bike together anyways. I'll just wash them up tomorrow while i'm working and snap a couple pics...

I like the look, and it would also be cool with a red. I WAS going to do the triumph decals in silver with blue borders... and i have blue on the wheels and around the gauges... but my decal guy flaked on me, so i need to find someone else to make decals, i guess.

Like i said- it won't look like a full-out custom paint job (even though it is)... but i like that about it. It doesnt draw too much attention, but it has SOOO much mroe depth than a plain black paint job.
