Sportbike: Triumphs, lots of Triumphs
Thanks for the feedback guy's
GSXR fork conversions for Triumphs are made by RaceComp. www.racecomp.com.au we sell all the parts to do the job….
Turbo Speedy info…..
BHP is around 160/165 torque is just nuts, yeh it's good fun to ride.
Standard comp with 6psi on pump fuel. The radiator is stock; it runs quite cool because the turbo is not water cooled, so it doesn’t warm the engine temp up at all…
If your turbo is sized correctly and it’s tuned well they don’t get hot!!!
This is another one of RaceComps Triumph's
Lots more of RaceComp’s bikes to follow. I have got some high res pictures that I'll upload in my profile later. I like big pictures you can see things better
This is our 2001 carbon Daytona with Ohlins and a turbo……

ZxHunteR You can give it more boost than that
This is true. However our kits are about ridability. With standard comp 6 PSI is enough.
I've tried 8 psi and I didn’t really notice much difference in power.
Speed Triple motors only have cast pistons, so if you push it, you stuff it there is almost no lag with this set-up.
3000 rpm is the sweet spot, the motor just loves to sit at that riding along at 110k with about 1.5psi. Crack the throttle and it just boosts instantly to 6 psi and hold on............ The gearing is 19/42 and it pulls it easy……. That makes for a very long top gear when you start at 3000 rpm……..
You can ride any of my turbo bikes hard, either on the track or in the hills. No nasty spikes of boost mid corner, just pure grunt..... Lots of it. It's like a 2ltr twin feeling very strong a real lazy mans bike. At the same time it revs out to 10,500 but why would you!!! This is a midrange power kit for real world riding, no extended swingarms. The kit is made for riding with corners in mind. You can still spin up the rear tyre but it grunt that’s spinning it and that’s very controllable. Wheelies…. Just Pick a gear………….
To much boost would put pay to all that. I know it's no turbo Busa killer in a straight line but at the end of the line there is normally a corner ............

I do have plans to turbo a 1050 motor, triples lend themselves so well to turbo’s.
A well matched motor and turbo is so much fun and very reliable. If I fitted a belly pan and radiator covers it would be hard to notice the turbo….. I like the sleepers……
