Hey everyone. I've been having some issues with my carbs, so since I had to rip the tank off of the bike anyways, I decided to paint it. The bike had lots of little imperfections, and I didn't particularly love (but didn't hate) the color that it was.
Now, it's black. Flat black.
What do you think??
Also, I've got some Yamaha logo decals on order, they're 3 by 3 inch ones, and I'm gonna put one on each side of the tank...and I'm probably gonna get some of those wheel decals that are the rage right now.

that looks MUCH better!! and the headlight really makes the bike look more modern, IMO.

Thanks. That's actually the third headlight I've had on the bike. It came stock with a 7x4 inch square one. I swapped that out for the 7 inch round one, but the light output of it seemed pretty pathetic, so I put that little one on there. It's a driving light, but it's got quite a bit brighter and cleaner looking light. I like it much better than the other headlights.
Very cool...especially that last pic. Personally I'd black out the wheels, get red rim stripes and red yahama decals for the side. That would look sick!
Looks awesome... but you can make it better. Powder coat anything you can on the bike flat black. And then buy all black leathers, and this Vemar helmet (make sure to get the black visor too):
