lol...don't hate me! The pictures make it look far better than it does in person. There is a lot of flaws on this old bike.

Thanks. It was actually kind of thrown at me. My friend drove that for about a year, and decided it was time to upgrade to a new bike. He just wanted to get rid of this bike, and gave it to me for half of the book value on it. He just wanted me to learn to ride, so we could ride together.

Sweet ass bike and yea you were right it is FZ as the FZR wasn't until next year. Man looks like my 400 but painted blue. Must be fun to ride. Hey i also noticed you got a kerker like i had. Man this thread brings back memories,now if only it was a 400cc,i'd go to Albany witha wad o'cash and get it off ya. Those bikes were fun. REmber always keep the shiny side up.  |

Thank you very much. Where in hawaii are you from? I was born at the Tripler Army Medical Center when my dad was stationed over there. We lived a short time in honolulu, and now we both work for the Department of Defense.

Yeah, its a nice bike when it runs ok. Again, the pics make the bike look much cleaner than in person. The kerker pipe was on there when I bought it.

Mechanically, it takes forever to start when its been sitting for a while and its cold. Also lately, for about the first mile or two of driving it, it does a bunch of quiet little backfires that kind of bogs the engine.
I'll check out www.fzrarchives.com, but my bike is only a FZ, not a FZR.
