Here's how the bike sat most of the winter while I was travelling for work:
And after rebuilding the forks, flushing coolant, new oil/filter, new sprockets (front -1) and chain, and some serious elbow grease, Simple Green, and some other less-eco-friendly spray cans.
You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Beautiful SJ. There is a local one with 700 miles on it (got looped early in life, rebuilt back when parts were obtainable) and they WILL sell it, but want WAYY too much money for it. Always liked those.

i was just gonna say that.
nice bike and all- but DAMN that's a nice garage. mine will hopefully look like that by the end of next year. you know, once i buy a house and all that. i'm wanting a barn, actually- so i can get the second story with a lift..... my GF's dad has the PERFECT barn, but it's not finished..... that would be a perfect house for me, too.... eh- too bad he aint moving....
nice bike, though- i've always love the SJ F3's....
