Quick question, I havent looked at any other pictures of F4/F4i's. but do F4i's come standard with the 2 part seat? my F4 has 1 seat over all for rider and passenger. I was wondering if thats an aftermarket tail you have on there? If so, looks good, I may think about getting one.

I love the look of bikes with seat cowls.

I think the 1999 to 2003 got the split seat configaration and '04 and up have the single seat.

And yes the undertail is made from ABS plastic and uses red led's for the brakes and has seperate amber led turn signals. I found them on Ebay. Its the F4i GP EURO Undertail. Good build quality and well worth it.

I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks for the comments.

Nice bike man!!! I don't own a honda but it was the CBR that made me want a bike to begin with. Glad to see you have the good year without that banana seat.

I always loved the huge wing logo spanning the whole bike. Almost as much as I liked the original RWB HRC racing scheme. I love the way your pillion matches the plastic--I had to look close to realize that you didn't replace the pillion seat with a solo cowl. Very clean, very good looking bike!

For F4i machines, the split seat is technically from 2001 to 2003 model years.

The F4 never had a split seat from the factory.

Mine's better!

Is there an advantage to the split seat, or is it all aesthetic? Never did like the fact that an F4i Corbin for both riders costs ~100 bucks more than a one piece for an earlier/later model.
