Arrow *pics* My Nighthawk650

It will still be a month and a half or so before I have the money for a sport bike ($5kish), so here are some pictures of my 1983 Honda Nighthawk 650. Decided to clean, polish, wax, treat the seat, etc...

Enjoy!

Justin

ps- I already know about the blinkers, I am going to order new ones for each corner so lol

That's a nice looking bike, the only thing that get's me about it is how the gauge cluster looks like something out of a early 80's F-Body.

Oh man, I actually love the gauges even better than my 700 S. I think it's a sweet bike and the condition is awesome, regardless of its age.

It's original paint, etc.

I did a pretty extensive checkup/ maintenance on it and it runs like it did the day it was bought!

8,400miles on it, 6 speed, and free= can't beat it i.m.o.

Thanks Wisper,

Actually My uncle hasn't ridden it since 1991 so when I got back I looked into the MSF course, got the license and everything and he gave it to me, title in hand and etc.

I love going to the local Honda Shop because they are always like " When do you want to trade in that 'ole Nighthawk for that CBR your looking at ? " haha I am going to keep this bike and get a sport bike since I know there aren't many Nighthawks around in real good shape.

Thanks guys! Love to hear the comments from ya'll.

That is an awesome bike!!! I can't believe what good shape it's in. I drooled over that bike when it was brand new. It was so far ahead of any of it's competition in every way. And the styling was inspired by Craig Vetter's X75 Hurricane.

It still has the little caution and safety stickers on it... Don't change anything major on that bike! It's pristine.

Enjoy!

awesome pics man. my first street bike was the same bike, same year and color. man i loved that bike. it was my uncles bike first, when he passed away it was given to me about 4 years ago. its a great bike. the only problem i have with it is a screwy electrical problem with the turnsignals. i think i need to rewire the whole thing.

thanks for showing me how far from clean my nighthawk is

dont ever sell that bike. its a keeper.

Very nice, I've always liked nighthawks.

The gauges look like they were from my '86 Mazda B2200, I like it!
