It's a cruel world, it's 55 degrees today and my bike is 200 miles away. So I took the opportunity to work on my car a bit. Finally got some pics. It's still undergoing restoration. You can see what it looked like before here, and some more pics I took today here.
Stuff left to do, as you can see in the photos I'm missing a few trim pieces; front hood, front and rear windshield pieces, wheel well trim, rocker panel trim, a few badges. Interior is mostly done, I want to replace a few worn parts, but it's functional. New cam waiting to be installed. Repaint a few areas. Then when I have money, tear it all apart again and start from scratch
That is one of the most under rated and awesome cars ever made, and yours looks awesome...
If it weren't for the bikes eating my wallet faster than Oprah on a burger, I'd get a '74 AMX in a heartbeat...
I worked with a guy that would never shutup about some javelin he had owned back in the day. he was always like "man i wish i never sold my javelin" or "dude look at this javelin in the trader". The trader never did much justice. That is a cool looking car. good work

Parts aren't too hard to find, with the internet and now some aftermarket suppliers. I've got an Edelbrock cam, intake, carb, lifters, timing chain, and a few other goodies to go in there. Plus the AMC 360 lived forever in Jeeps, so engine and tranny options abound.
This is what it looked like when I got it.
Bought it cheap in high school about, um, is it six years already??, and put it back together piece by piece, saving money along the way to get parts and such. Working at a body shop helped with the paint job too!
