Yeah that video is really old...

Not a good choice for an escape vehicle. Less you get a 10 second head start without someone pulling in front of you.

*sigh* I hate this video... the guy got what he deserved and the cops would of done the same thing if he was in a car, but the idiot chose a motorcycle. In Madrid had they let him go any farther than that he would of gotten away on the motorcycle.

Couldn't they just give him a fixed bike and then remotely disabled it when he tried to ride away?

Or if your plan is to hit someone with a car, why not just shoot them, that way nobody has to buy the police a pops-a-dent

it's probably a lot safer to ram him at a slow speed with a car than to shoot him. a shooter could easily miss or kill a moving target, rather than impare it... and it's a helluva lot funnier and creative the way they did it; like they really banged him in the ass hard when he wasn't looking
