For me its actually a relief to know that the driver did that on purpose. I had seen that video as part of a crash montage. Watched it several times, trying to figure out how in the hell the driver didn't see the bike and how the rider didn't see that car entering the intersection.
Lesson: If you're going to use a motorcycle as a getaway vehicle, you'd better light her up good and stay lit until you're damn well outa town.
