Quite an upgrade! How's it ride? Any obvious pros/cons so far?
Let me know if you want to trade that in for a Superhawk. I have one ready for pick up! I'll be fair, an equal trade. hehehe.
Are the frames of the Brutale and F4 the same? From the pictures, they look pretty close.
Nice ride!!! Welcome to the site as well.
The frames are the same yes (at least for the most part, not sure about exact sizes/materials, but design is the same). The bike rides like a dream. So smooth and effortless to ride, turns on rails and is a pure monster. Pros i could list forever. Cons would have to be getting used to the riding position as im used to the more upright Brutale seating. Lower back is killing me but getting better. Bike generates alot of heat under the seat, so i have a built in heater lol. Couldn't say enough about it really..... couldn't be more happy with it.
Triple Seven, how many miles did you have on the 04 MV Agusta Brutale before you traded it in? How was the reliability? I have been eyeing an MV Agusta, but have been a little concerned about the reliability compared to the Japanese bikes. That Agusta F4-1000 looks so good! Congrats! That is the best looking motorcycle on the planet!!!! And it is even in the blue that I have been lusting after.

Heh I was drooling over that same bike at the IMS in san jo last weekend.
Where abouts in the bay area are you? Besides the track I have yet to see an MV out on the streets but if I see a blue/silver F4 I'll assume it's you hehe.

I put less than 10k miles on it. I wouldn't worry about the 'reliability' these bikes are rock solid.

I'm jealous. Just promise to take care of her, but above all- RIDE IT. Nothing worse than having a bike like that and not riding it.
I ride almost every day, and occasionally in the rain. Definitely don't buy these bikes to just keep it locked away. Buy'em to ride!!

I live along the peninsula. I come to San Jose every so often. Usually can find me up in the hills/twisties, the city streets like El Camino, along the coast. Im up at "Alice's" about once a week. See you out there.

Yes I know. Was an extremely difficult decision. Probably grab another Brutale someday to have both. When I can get the ends....
